Mind you, I do not trust the Flemish Block one millimeter further than I can throw it, but this is both an expression of double standards (far-left loonbat parties get a "pass" for much worse) and utterly pointless (the Vlaams Blok will just be reformed under another name) --- and potentially completely counterproductive. The judges will undoubtedly pat each other on the back about what a service they did to the ostriches of the traditional parties democracy. I can just see the procession marching, and the priest at the head chanting in Latin: "Sanctus Hypocritus, ora pro nobis." (St. Hypocrit, pray for us.)
The Belgian powers that be know all too well that if they want to confront the Block by democratic means, they will have to pull their heads out of the sand (or other places) and stop avoiding "the elephant in the room". Or consider the possibility that what the Belgian political establishment needs most of all is a credible conservative (or classical-liberal) party.
